
Igor Naskalov 
Igor Naskalov was born in Omsk, Russia in 1961. He is currently a Senior Lecturer of Painting at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture by Ilya Glazunov in Moscow, where he teaches reproduction of old master paintings.
Igor graduated from the Moscow Fine Arts College in 1980, and received an M.F.A. in Painting at the Moscow State Institute of Fine Arts VI Surikov in in 1986. He taught drawing and painting for three years at the Pedagogical Academy in Moscow, where he began his PhD and developed his own program, “Development of Artistic Vision." He has written the methodology tutorials "Drawing Draperies" and "Spanish Still Life" for students of fine art schools.
By invitation of the Russian Academy, Igor has taught in Princeton, New Jersey, where he has lived and worked since 1990. He is a founder and instructor at the mural painting studio "Reflection of the Renaissance," and is also a regular workshop instructor at The Florence Academy of Art.
Igor has completed many murals and portrait commissions, and his work is represented in many private collections throughout the United States, Russia, and Europe.
